Long List of Potential Final Destinations

Welcome back to the adventure of my student teaching journey! These past few months have been busy with many different meetings with potential cooperating teachers! Although in a typical year, I would have been able to visit all of these schools, unfortunately, most of my experience was all virtual. Let's take a look at some of the awesome schools that I was able to meet with!

Back in February, I reached out to nearly 10 different schools around Pennsylvania to meet the ag teachers and learn more about the schools! I had such a great experience meeting with these teachers and seeing how diverse their programs are. W.B Saul, Bermudian Springs, West Perry, Dover, West Greene, and Brockway were all of the schools I was able to talk to and start to build meaningful connections with!

The very first school I reached out to happened to be Gettysburg Area High School! Maybe it is because I love history, but for some reason, this program automatically caught my eye!

I LOVE how nicely decorated each classroom was!
Stay tuned for my next post to see more about this program!

After my 2 zoom meetings with both of the teachers, I decided that I wanted to see the program for myself! This past week, I had the wonderful privilege of visiting the school, observing the classes, building relations with the teachers, and exploring the community!

Overall, all of my visits with all of the programs have made me so excited for the future! I cannot wait to see where my final destination will be for student teaching!

  1. Hi Jenna - Happy placement interview week! I'm sure you did great. These visits sound like great cooperating centers. Wow, Gettysburg has a lot of greenhouse space! What are some must-have laboratory spaces for you at your future cooperating center? Reach out if you ever want to chat :)
